Forager sob medida – Location, date and duration of experience built together!
The Forager sob medida (tailor-made forager) provides an encounter with nature,exploring the world of unconventional edible plants (PANC), medicinal plants and wild mushrooms, sharpening the senses with a look at environmental education and bringing the perception of the potential of our biodiversity.

Some location options: in Paraty, it can be done on the Centro Histórico (downtown Paraty), at Sítio Agroflorestal São José, on the Caminho do Ouro (historical location), on the trails of Melancia, Usina or Graúna waterfalls, on the beach Saco do Fundão, among others. It's your choice!
What you can experience:
- Trails, walks with observation of the biodiversity along the way, collection wild plants and mushrooms; with observação da biodiversidade do caminho, coleta de plantas espontâneas e cogumelos silvestres;
- Picnic or lunch at a partner restaurant, with tasting of edible plants and mushrooms;
- Or yet, a gastronomic experience, prepared together, using some of the species of edible plants and mushrooms collected, ending with a vegetarian lunch, made with agroforestry ingredients;
- Roda de Conversation/class about the species collected and and ways of using them;
- Time for a waterfall or beach bath;
- Context and data about the historical sites with registered guides (according to the chosen location);
- Botanical art workshops with guests (as proposed).
What you will need for the experience:
- Light and comfortable clothes;
- Tennis;
- Bath towel;
- Raincoat;
- Bottle of water;
- Repellent of your choice;
- Sunscreen.
