A beautiful morning of mushroom hunting during the Mushroom Workshop – Bioprospecting of Atlantic Forest mushrooms, identification and cultivation, promoted by the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ), during Rural Week 2023.
We had unusual encounters and a pleasant surprise because, despite the arid climate, we filled the table with several species, as you can see in the photos.
An abundant meeting, marked by exchanges and the strengthening of the look at the richness of fungi, which also opened fronts for scientific dialogues on medicine, therapies with fungi, in addition to biomaterials and food.
When we talk about the Fungi Kingdom, we have a whole world of possibilities in front of us, many of them still to be known and developed.
Thank you for the invitation, Rural Fungi and Mari’ká Pharmacopoeia! It was really nice and exciting to resume this connection with UFRRJ, an institution that is part of my personal training and brought me many life connections.
